Zenly Ring – A Simple Ritual for Everyday Balance

The Science behind our Zenly Ring®

The Zenly Ring® is a modern well-being accessory designed around four neodymium magnets and a form perfectly adapted for daily comfort.

While it is not a medical device, its effects are inspired by the principles of acupressure and magnetotherapy, two complementary approaches known to stimulate the body’s natural balance and promote relaxation.

Many users report that wearing the Zenly Ring® helps them reduce perceived stress, improve focus, and facilitate relaxation rituals throughout the day.

Rather than claiming to cure, Zenly acts as a ritual catalyst—a tangible reminder to slow down, reconnect with the body, and activate the body’s own energetic pathways.

How to get all the benefits :

Gentle ritual cue

Wearing the ring throughout the day serves as a micro-signal for mindful breathing, transforming scattered moments into small, intentional pauses that calm the nervous system.

Seamless rituals

By integrating naturally into your routine, the Zenly Ring®, the Guasha, the Glove, and our digital guidance platform help you develop micro-habits of calm and focus, restoring inner balance day after day.

Sensory focus

The ring’s subtle magnetic field and balanced weight create a soothing tactile feedback, grounding you in the present and enhancing proprioceptive awareness.

Intentional pause

Combine the ring with the Guasha or Acupressure Glove during your wind-down rituals. This synergy supports circulation, mental clarity, and restorative sleep.

What research actually shows

Research about acupressure and magetotherapy is very recent, when compared to human history. These techniques have been used for thousands of years by multiple civilisations, and we now have the knowledge to explain why this was so efficient. We packed down below a list of studies that show a long list of benefits.

Power of combination

When acupressure and magnetotherapy are combined—as in the Zenly Ring®—their effects appear to reinforce each other:

the tactile activation of acupressure points improves local circulation and nerve signaling, while magnetic stimulation subtly influences cellular ion exchange and energy flow.

Together, they create a balanced sensory field that encourages deep relaxation and body awareness.

The Science Behind : Complete Study List

Magnetotherapy

Magnetic fields accelerate fat metabolism, supporting weight loss.

Effects of moderate static magnetic fields on the lipogenesis and lipolysis in different genders of Caenorhabditis elegans – Zicheng Liu et al. (2023)

Worms exposed to a moderate static magnetic field (0.5 Tesla) showed significantly decreased fat content and smaller lipid droplets, alongside up-regulated fatburning genes and down-regulated fat-storage genes, compared to unexposed controls . These findings suggest that magnetotherapy can enhance lipolysis and reduce fat accumulation at the cellular level, hinting at a potential slimming effect.

Magnetic therapy provides relief from menstrual cramps.

Effects of a Concentric Rare-Earth Magnet on Menstrual Cycle Pain: A Parallel-
Group Randomized Pilot Study – Harvey N. Mayrovitz et al. (2022)

In this placebo-controlled pilot, women with severe dysmenorrhea wore either an active neodymium magnet (~0.4 Tesla) or a sham magnet over the abdomen for 40 minutes during cramps. The magnet group reported significantly lower pain scores than the sham group (average pain ~4.2 vs 5.5, p=0.027), and 58% of magnet users achieved a meaningful reduction in pain (≥35% relief) compared to 18% with placebo. These results suggest that even shortterm use of a properly designed static magnet can produce notable menstrual pain relief in many women.

Pulsed and static magnets improve joint function and reduce inflammation.

Positive and Negative Effects of Administering a Magnetic Field to Patients with heumatoid Arthritis (RA) – Jolanta Zwolińska et al. (2024)

In a study of 39 RA patients, low frequency pulsed electromagnetic fields (PEMF) and static magnetic fields (SMF) were applied during therapy. Both types of magnetotherapy produced significant improvements in hand joint function (better range of motion and grip strength) and reduced RA symptoms . On average, patients had less pain, less morning stiffness (by ~23 minutes), and reduced swelling, leading to a measurably better functional status after magnetic treatment . Notably, static magnets were especially effective at cutting down stiffness, while PEMF better improved overall function . These findings lend scientific credibility to magnetotherapy’s anti-inflammatory and mobility-enhancing benefits for joint health.

Energies

Auricular magnetic acupressure can suppress appetite and aid weight loss.

Effects of auricular acupressure on weight reduction and abdominal obesity in
Asian young adults: a randomized controlled trial – Ching-Hsiu Hsieh et al. (2011)

In this 8-week RCT, overweight young adults received weekly ear acupressure either with tiny magnetic beads on appetite-related acupoints or with acupressure alone. Both groups lost weight and reduced waist size, but only the magnet-acupressure group saw a significant decrease in waist-to-hip ratio . The study concludes that auricular acupressure with magnets can help curb appetite and enhance weight loss outcomes, making it a useful natural add-on for slimming programs.

Magnetic jewelry can alleviate joint pain and stiffness.

Randomised controlled trial of magnetic bracelets for relieving pain in osteoarthritis of the hip and knee – Tim Harlow et al. (2004)

In a trial of 194 adults with hip or knee osteoarthritis, participants wore either a standard-strength magnetic bracelet, a weak magnet, or a non-magnetic dummy for 12 weeks. The magnetic bracelet group experienced a greater reduction in arthritis pain scores than the placebo group (mean WOMAC pain score improved by an extra 1.3 points) . The study concluded that pain from osteoarthritis of the hip and knee decreases when wearing magnetic bracelets, although a placebo effect could not be ruled out . This implies that magnetotherapy may offer noticeable relief for joint pain and discomfort.

Pulsed electromagnetic fields reduce chronic low-back pain and restore mobility.

Markov MS. “Pulsed electromagnetic field therapy history, state of the art and future.” The Environmentalist, 2007.

A review of multiple PEMF trials showed consistent pain reduction in individuals with chronic back conditions. The proposed mechanism involves improved circulation, cellular repair stimulation, and a reduction in nociceptive signaling.

Acupressure

Acupressure encourages Stress and Anxiety Reduction

Acupressure: a possible therapeutic strategy for anxiety - Zhihua Peng et al., 2024

A meta-analysis of 39 randomized controlled trials found that acupressure (manual pressure on specific points) has a notable anxiolytic effect. Most studies reported a significant decrease in anxiety levels in those receiving acupressure versus control groups. The technique provided a calming effect almost immediately, offering moderate relief without the need for medication.

Acupressure Improves Sleep

Acupressure in insomnia and other sleep disorders in elderly patients – Mara Simoncini et al., 2015

Sleep quality improved significantly after applying acupressure to the wrist point Shenmen. Among elderly patients with insomnia, 8 weeks of daily acupressure increased total sleep time, enhanced sleep quality, and reduced time to fall asleep. Notably, participants also saw better overall quality of life and reduced reliance on sleep medication thanks to this gentle method.

Relief from Recurrent Headaches

Effects of acupressure on recurrent headache and anxiety among university students: quasi-experimental studyM. G. Elsehrawy et al., 2024

This study on students with chronic headaches found that a short acupressure routine significantly reduced both headache frequency and intensity (p = 0.001) after a few weeks. Participants also reported lower stress and anxiety, with better sleep and a greater sense of control over their emotional state.
